MISSSION AND VALUES

The Fundacion Wellington was set up in June, 1984 as charitable - educational institution by will of Mrs. Julia Gonzalez Altuna, widow of Don Baltasar Ibán, founder of the Hotel, with the intention of “developing the educational, cultural and social activities tending to improve the human, professional and civic training of people” (article 5º of the Foundational Statutes).

The head office of the Fundacion is located in the Wellington Hotel of Velazquez street of Madrid, in what is colloquially known as the extension of the Wellington, the plot that long ago was occupying the estate where there the "Magic Tower" Ramon Gómez de la Serna's was erected.
